Ahnvee Photography Takes First Place in Photo Competition

Tiffany Lemoine of Ahnvee Photography in Lafayette, LA was just awarded first place in an international photography competition. Contestants were able to submit up to 50 photos in 28 different categories, and then vote individually on their favorites. The photos were voted on by people from all over the world without any name or logo attached, ensuring each photo was awarded on its own merit. Ahnvee Photography’s submission stood out among the rest within the category “The Bride.” Tiffany has continuously placed as a finalist or above with other submissions over the years, however this is the first time her work has received a first-place mention.

At Ahnvee Photography, portrait specialties range from bridal and wedding photography, to senior pictures and boudoir photography, which makes it difficult to find the spotlight in such a saturated market. As a Lafayette photography studio, Ahnvee is constantly looking for ways to stand out within the industry. Throughout the years, one thing Tiffany has done to differentiate herself is enter her favorite photographs from her annual portfolios into an array of global competitions. This year she entered an international competition with photos spanning across 28 different categories. Her work was placed among countless other talented photographers from across the globe, and the competition was fierce. While it can be nerve-wracking to subject your work to the criticism of others, she always enjoys getting feedback on her work and seeing the submissions of other photographers. Participating in these contests for so many years gives her a clear view of how much she’s improved in such a short amount of time.

Tiffany responds to her new credentials by saying that “despite immense competition, I’m incredibly honored and humbled to say that my photos have performed well enough to receive recognition!  Entering this photography contest is not only beneficial in getting exposure and connecting with other talented artists, but it also allows me to receive feedback and grow as a photographer. I’d also like to give a big THANK YOU to all of my clients: past, present, and future! Without you guys, none of this would be possible.”
