I’ve put this off more times than I care to admit because trying to talk about yourself on the internet without sounding painfully stiff or completely chaotic is a very specific kind of challenge. But if you’re here, I’m guessing you want more than the polished version anyway.
I’m Tiffany Lemoine, the photographer behind Ahnvee Photography. I’m based in Lafayette and serve clients across Louisiana and beyond, and I photograph weddings, seniors, boudoir, branding, and creative portraits with one big goal in mind: creating images that feel personal, intentional, and actually true to the people in them.
Who Am I Behind the Camera?
I’m a creative to my core. Photography is a huge part of my world, but it has never been the only part. I love art, food, music, beauty, culture, decorating, storytelling, and all the tiny details that make life feel richer and more alive.
I’m also the kind of person who notices things other people walk right past. A weird little corner with beautiful light. The color of a wall. The way someone laughs when they forget they’re being watched. The feeling underneath a moment. That shapes the way I photograph everything.
What Kind of Photographer Am I?
I care just as much about how you feel as I do about how the final gallery looks.
Of course I want the photos to be beautiful. But I also know the strongest images usually happen when people feel comfortable, guided, and genuinely seen. That is why Ahnvee has always been about more than showing up, posing people, and calling it a day.
My work tends to live somewhere between bold and heartfelt. I love imagery that feels artistic, expressive, emotional, and polished, but never so polished that it loses its pulse.
Why Did I Start Ahnvee Photography?
Ahnvee came from a creative craving and a deep need to do things differently.
Some of that came from my own experiences with photography. Some of it came from becoming a mom and realizing even more deeply how fast life moves and how much memories matter. A lot of it came from knowing I wanted to build something more personal, more artistic, and more alive than the usual cookie-cutter experience.
I didn’t want this business to feel generic. I wanted it to feel like a place where creativity and connection could actually live together.
What Matters Most to Me in This Work?
Connection matters. Trust matters. Feeling something matters.
I care about creating photographs that do more than look nice on a screen. I want them to hold onto something real. Joy. Confidence. Softness. Energy. Celebration. Personality. The pieces of you that deserve to be remembered.
The experience matters just as much to me. I want people to feel taken care of, not processed. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a senior, a boudoir session, or a brand, I want the whole thing to feel personal from start to finish.
What Can You Expect From Me as a Photographer?
You can expect honesty, creativity, direction, and a lot of care.
I’ll probably notice tiny details. I’ll definitely get excited about the light. And I absolutely want your photos to feel like you, not like a template someone pulled off a conveyor belt.
Just as important, I want the process to feel easy enough that you can actually enjoy it. The goal is not just beautiful photos. The goal is beautiful photos that still have a heartbeat.

What are three words that describe you?
Creative, determined, and vigilant. That Taurus sun, Gemini moon, Pisces rising energy is doing a lot over here.
What is one of your best attributes?
I think one of my best gifts is my ability to see beauty in everything. That has helped me so much as a creative and definitely shapes the way I photograph people.
What events in your life made you who you are?
Becoming a mom changed everything for me. My son is one of the biggest reasons I turned photography into a career and started this business. Therapy changed me in important ways too and helped me take control of my mental health.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Cooking, eating, painting, makeup, interior decorating, discovering new music, and spending an embarrassing amount of time designing houses, restaurants, and coffee shops in The Sims 4 instead of actually playing the game.
What is your favorite holiday?
Halloween, no contest. Costumes, decorations, creativity, and a little darkness make my little heart very happy.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
What is your biggest strength and weakness?
My intuition is one of my biggest strengths, along with being creative and attentive to detail. My weakness is that I expect a lot from myself and, yes, I am absolutely a professional procrastinator.
What do you hope to be remembered for?
I hope I’m remembered as someone who always tried her best to be her best.

I’m a photographer, an artist, a mom, a big feeler, a detail-noticer, a lover of beauty, and someone who is always trying to make something meaningful out of the life in front of me.

Why Louisiana Will Always Be Part of the Story
Being based in Lafayette shapes so much of who I am and how I create. Louisiana has soul. It has grit, flavor, warmth, texture, and a kind of beauty that does not always show up in obvious ways.
That sense of place naturally finds its way into my work. Even when I travel, there is still something about the way I see people and tell stories that feels rooted here.
