What we Love
- A plant lovers’ dream venue!
- Very Spacious, tall ceilings.
- The natural light is unmatched in this venue.
- Getting ready space is large, has lots of mirrors for hair and makeup.
- Hands-down gorgeous venue is why this is our number one Louisiana Wedding Venue!
- Food & dining area is separate from the dance floor.

2. The Crossing at Mervin Kahn | Raine, Louisiana
What we Love:
- Venue coordinator is involved & awesome!
- Very spacious areas with separated food, bar, getting ready, ceremony spaces.
- Naturally photogenic – little decor is needed to make this place shine.
- Vintage & Exposed Brick.
- Stage for band, musician, DJ to set up.
Things to Consider:
- The ceremony space is small with no center aisle.
- No getting ready space for the groomsmen.
3. Hotel Bently | Alexandria, Louisiana
What We Love:
- Jaw-dropping architectural design.
- The ballroom is one of our favorite reception areas of all time!
- Large bridal suite in the hotel with lots of natural light.
- Guys can also get ready in the hotel, so everyone can get ready in the same location.
- Very Spacious with plenty of great backdrops for photos with tall ceilings.

- It is a hotel that is open to the public – so keep that in mind.

4. Rip Van Winkle Gardens | Jefferson Island, Louisiana
What We Love:
- A one of a kind, unique outdoor space for ceremony, portraits, etc.
- Getting ready spaces for both bride and groom.
- Reception on the same property & venue.
- If you want to prioritize a beautiful, outdoor ceremony, this is the best location for that!

- The reception area is small and can become cramped depending on size of the wedding.
- Getting ready spaces are also on the smaller size, good to keep note if your wedding party is on the larger size.

- Outdoor open-air chapel is modern, spacious, with lots of natural light.
- Outdoor space is covered.
- Groom getting ready space is unique with a man-cave aesthetic.
- The grounds are a fantastic place for all forms of portraits & group photography.
- The venue coordinator is the best!
Things to Consider:
- The bridal getting ready space is on the smaller size.
- The reception area is difficult to navigate for larger sized weddings.
- A little bit out the way in terms of location.
- The venue is fitted to a rustic aesthetic.

- It is hard to photograph bigger wedding parties behind the cake if it is placed on stage.
- It can be a little cramped for larger sized weddings.
- The venue is relatively dark.
