  • Very Spacious, tall ceilings.
  • The natural light is unmatched in this venue.
  • Getting ready space is large, has lots of mirrors for hair and makeup.
  • Hands-down gorgeous venue is why this is our number one Louisiana Wedding Venue!
  • Food & dining area is separate from the dance floor.

  • Venue coordinator is involved & awesome!
  • Very spacious areas with separated food, bar, getting ready, ceremony spaces.
  • Naturally photogenic – little decor is needed to make this place shine.
  • Vintage & Exposed Brick.
  • Stage for band, musician, DJ to set up.

Things to Consider:

  • The ceremony space is small with no center aisle.
  • No getting ready space for the groomsmen.

  • The ballroom is one of our favorite reception areas of all time!
  • Large bridal suite in the hotel with lots of natural light.
  • Guys can also get ready in the hotel, so everyone can get ready in the same location.
  • Very Spacious with plenty of great backdrops for photos with tall ceilings.

4. Rip Van Winkle Gardens | Jefferson Island, Louisiana

  • It is hard to photograph bigger wedding parties behind the cake if it is placed on stage.
  • It can be a little cramped for larger sized weddings.
  • The venue is relatively dark.
  • Parking is difficult.
